EVENT| World Travel Market exhibition at Excel London 

BRIEF| To produce a Cheerleading themed flashmob to draw attention to an exhibition stand 
 

Visit Florida is the state's official tourism marketing corporation and it serves as Florida's official source for travel planning to visitors across the globe. With an impressive stand at The World Travel Market exhibition at The Excel Centre in London, it was important to stand out from the crowd and they decided to draw attention with a flashmob dance routine. They felt that Cheerleaders would be a great representation of Florida and provide a high energy and entertaining performance and we knew that this would be a great job for 5 Star Live. 

 

On the live event day, we co-ordinated 10 fully rehearsed male and female dancers to arrive at Excel first thing in the morning. After a quick turnaround into branded costumes (complete with pom pom’s of course!) our dancers were ready to go! The day consisted of a series of pop-up flashmob style performances that took place on the exhibition stand. These unexpected visual displays were an exciting combination of high-energy dance moves and impressive acrobatics. As the day progressed and the stand grew busier, we were pleased to see that these surprise performances gained a lot of attention as passers-by stopped to watch, enjoy and take photos and videos of the action. I think it was safe to say our dancers caused quite a stir and Visit Florida had one very busy and successful day at Excel!
